Care & Prayer
Prayer
ePrayers
We provide an electronic prayer chain for those who wish to participate. An update is generally sent out on Wednesday of each week. Occasionally an urgent request goes out at other times. To join ePrayers, go to CornerstoneMI.org. Click envelope icon
in the upper right. Complete the form with your name and email address. Check the “ePrayers” box and click “Join Now”. You may unsubscribe at any time. To have a request or praise put on ePrayers, contact Mara Marsman, 698-3170, or email MaraM@CornerstoneMI.org .
Response Cards
Each Sunday you have the opportunity to write your prayer requests and praises on your Response Card. These are emailed out to some members of the Prayer Team and then placed in the Prayer Room for prayer during the week. Team members also attempt to contact those who submit a prayer
request to offer encouragement.
Prayer Room
Our Prayer Room is available for you to use any time the building is open. There are materials on prayer to aid you as you pray. The room is located next the Main Office, Room B404.
Prayer Servants
Prayer Servants are available following each service to pray with you for
whatever concern(s) you may have. Look for them in the Prayer Corner at the rear of the Worship Center. They wear bright yellow “How Can I Pray for You?” buttons.
Prayer Time
Each Sunday at 8:30 am, meet in the Prayer Room to pray together briefly, then spread out through the building to invite God’s presence and pray over the pastors, the people and the ministries of Cornerstone.
Prayer Walking
Individuals, families and Life Groups are encouraged to “prayer walk” in neighborhoods. We have packets with instructions and suggested prayers. There are door hangers available to let folks know you prayed for them. Pick up a packet in the Prayer Room.
Prayer Path
We’ve started work on a bark-covered prayer path around the perimeter of our property. Future plans include a Memorial Garden and stations to guide your prayer as you walk.
Prayer Vigils
We plan quarterly Prayer Vigils to give individuals time for concentrated prayer and/or to have Team members pray with them. Each vigil has a different theme, but you are welcome to come and pray for any needs you may have. Come when you can and stay as long as you’d like.
Special Events
The Prayer Team plans some special prayer-related events such as Good Friday prayer stations, Prayer Vigils, Praise and Worship times and various studies related to prayer.
Individual Prayer
Members of our Prayer Team would be glad to pray with individuals as requested. Please let us know how we may serve you.

Do you have a passion for prayer? There are a variety of ways for you to serve on the Prayer Team. We meet quarterly for prayer and planning. Contact Mara Marsman at MaraM@CornerstoneMI.org or 698-3170 to find out how you can get involved!
